Stukely-Sud — Where Summer Moves Slowly

Surrounded by forests, open fields, and weathered farm buildings, Stukely-Sud is a place where nature quietly takes the lead. Every trail, wildflower, and distant view invites a slower pace, revealing the timeless charm of Québec’s countryside through moments that ask only to be noticed.

Behind the Camera

Every image in this gallery was photographed around Magog and Stukely-Sud, Québec, using a Fujifilm X-T5 with a Kodak Gold 200 film simulation recipe. Paired exclusively with the Fujinon XF 16mm f/1.4 R WR, the lens captured quiet rural landscapes, summer evenings, and everyday moments with soft tones and a timeless, film-like character. The only exception is the moon photograph, captured with the Fujinon XF 150–600mm R LM OIS WR to reveal details impossible with a wide-angle lens.

X-T5 40 MP note: The XF 16mm f/1.4 is not officially listed as optimized for Fujifilm’s 40 MP sensor, but it remains an excellent performer on the X-T5, especially for environmental storytelling and landscape photography.
